Your right palm should be on the left knee of your partner, and your left palm should be on your right thigh. Both of you should be in the same position. Stay in this position for a couple of breaths. Now, exhale well and go back to your original seated positions before you start again by turning to your left.

This pose helps in keeping your spine health in good condition. It also helps your body to flush out toxins easily by improving the overall health of your digestive system. Since the pose requires you to be dependent on your partner’s body posture, it helps in adding the much-needed spice to your relationship.

2. Tree Pose

A tree pose helps to bring a sense of calmness and trust in your relationship. In this pose, you have to stand along with your partner, facing the same direction. There should be a few feet of distance between the two of you. Now, keep your right arm in a “T” shape and place your right palm over your partner’s left palm. You need to lift your left foot so that the balance of your body is completely borne by your right foot. The sole of your raised left foot should rest on the thighs of your right leg. Now your partner you should take the same posture but on the opposite side. For example, if you lift your left foot, he/she needs to raise his/her right foot and vice versa.

You can rest your left arm that is free on the thighs of your raised left foot, or you can leave it free. Hold a few breaths in this position, before you take a short break. After a break, continue the posture with the opposite side, that is, you have to raise your right foot now, and your partner should raise his/her left foot to continue.

3. Boat Pose

Sit facing each other on the ground. Your knees should be bent, and your toes should touch your partner’s toes. Hold on to your partner’s wrists firmly.

In the same position, lift up your legs in such a way that your knees are close to your chests. Ensure that you don’t bend your back while doing this. Your partner’s wrists that you have held on to will help you in balancing your body tightly. Keep lifting your legs until your soles touch your partner’s soles. Remain in this position for a few breaths. Break free after a while and take some rest before you continue. 4. Sandwich Pose

The sandwich pose is one in which there are quite a few physical touches involved. Your feet should be placed at a shoulder-width distance from each other. Stretch out your arms above your heads while you bend forward. Ensure that you bend only at the hips. Keep holding hits position until your forearms, elbows, and wrists meet each other. Your legs must be straight while your chest and belly should fall forward when you continue to apply pressure while holding each other at your forearms. Take a few breaths before you relax and move away from each other.

6. Heart-building pose

Stand with your backs facing each other. Hold your hands together and stretch them back while you raise your head slightly in the upward direction.

With the backs of your feet touching each other, fall forward freely. You can do this easily because you have clasped your partner’s hands tightly. This pose with your body falling forward, head upwards, hands backward and feet touching other resemble the shape of a heart. Therefore, this is known as the heart-building pose.
